Daphne's Blessing Day

My beautiful baby Daphne was blessed yesterday. I am grateful that Darwin was able to bless her. Daphne was blessed with strength and courage, health, that all of her organs would functions properly, knowledge, that others would follow her example and that she will be a leader, that she would serve a mission, and get married in the temple. Daphne has brought so much happiness into our home. She is a sweet baby and she rarely cries. I love her so much and I feel very blessed to be her mother.

All of us, I can't believe how much my family has grown.

The men who stood in the circle. Dwight, Jason, Grandpa Dave, Darwin, Mike, Grandpa Parker, and James. (I really missed my brothers who couldn't make it to the blessing-Travis, BJ, and Darrin.)

It really was a nice day. The weather was nice so people could come from Utah. For some reason I always get kind of stressed. Some people bother me and I wish I could just blow it off or ignore them, but that is so much easier said than done. The bishop told us that we could have the dinner at the church so a bunch of people wouldn't have to come to our house and that was so generous. I feel like that is the way to host a lot of people. Everyone helped with the set up and clean up. I am thankful for everyone that came up for our family.

Love all the pictures. Too bad not one with Daphne and just her McKellar grandparents...oops! But really don't mind sharing the photo with Grandma T.
Ditto to Nicole's comment

You did a great job--both of you. It was a lot of fun. Thanks for letting us stay and chat for a couple of hours. My kids were highly disappointed that your kids were not at Grandma's Super Bowl Party! Hope yours was fun!
