Just recently I got this fun email about my other half. I filled it out and sent it on. Well Darwin thought that some of my answers needed some explaining so he filled out the email and sent it to everyone that I sent it to (get your own friends, buddy). Anyway, I think it really explains a lot about us.
What is his name? Darwin Garrett Parker
How did you meet? At Fremont High. Our second day of 10th grade in Mrs. Schultz's history class. But it was years later before we started dating. In fact, in August it was 9 years since we met.
How long have you been together? Over three years.
How long did you date? Not long, we dated for 6 weeks then were engaged for 3 looooong months.
How old is he? 24, he will be 25 on November 18
What's his sign? I have no idea, but I just asked him-Scorpio
What is your sign? Aquarius
What is his dream job? Anything that makes a lot of money and allows him time to be with his family and that he can be happy doing
Who eats more? Darwin does for sure. In fact when I am done with my food I pass my plate to him (unless it has sugar in it-then me all the way).
Who said I love you first? Darwin did. We were at Ashley and Dwight' house and he whispered it into my ear. I still get goosebumps just thinking about it.
Who sings better? Darwin for sure. I love when he sings to me. It is so charming.
Who is smarter? I think that we both have our strengths and weakensses. Darwin as a lot more information in his head than I do. He has a better memory than me too.
Who does the laundry? Mostly me, but Darwin is always willing to help which I am super grateful for.
Who does the dishes? Mostly me, Darwin does help though, especially if I beg him. I wish that I had a dishwasher.
Who pays the bills? Darwin brings home the paycheck. I am the one who writes out the checks. We both do the budget together.
Who mows the lawn? The last three times it has been me, but I am done with that, just ask Darwin he got an earful just this weekend.
Who cooks dinner? Mostly me, I have a hard time thinking up things to cook. If I am not in the mood to cook I will eat cold cereal but I think Darwin would die from that so he will cook something for himself.
Who drives when you are together? Usually Darwin unless I feel the need or if he is going to be on his cell phone. I cannot stand when people drive and talk on the phone at the same time-Idiots

Who is the first to admit when they're wrong? I have never had the chance to admit when I am wrong since i have never been wrong. I am just kidding, it depends on who is wrong.
Who kissed who first? I think that we kissed each other at the same time. We had not even gone a date yet we just really liked each other.
Who asked who out? I did for sure. Darwin about died. I couldn't tell if he liked me or not. I am surprised that he actually showed up.

Who is more sensitive? I am depending on the time of the month. But sometimes I swear, Darwin can be very emotional.
Who has more friends? I don't know. I keep in touch with more of my friends, but Darwin has friends EVERYWHERE it doesn't matter where we go, he knows someone.
Who has more siblings? I do. I have 1 sister and 4 brothers. Darwin has 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Who wears the pants in the family? Darwin does, just ask him.

What is her dream job? Being a mom, she has it and is awesome! Oh yeah, Jen is also my “Office Manager” she says that I fired her, but I just threatened, she didn’t work for about a month, then she decided that it was a pretty good job so she came back.
Who eats more? Me for sure, we can’t let food go to waste because there are kids in Mexico that don’t have anything to eat.
Who said I love you first? I did.
Who sings better? Me, I think that Jen just pretends that she can’t so she doesn’t have to.
Who is smarter? It depends on the subject. But neither of us are dumb despite what people think.
Who does the laundry? Jen, she doesn’t like that I start it and don’t fold it or whatever.
Who does the dishes? If we were to break it down into percentages it would probably go as follows, Jen 50.0000000000000000000000000000001% Darwin 49.99999999999999999999999999999999%. As you can see it is a very very close race.
Who pays the bills? I used to, then I started leaving it up to the “Office Manager” but we consult together.Who mows the lawn? I usually do, however I have been extremely busy with stuff and I haven’t been able to so Jen has done it the last couple of times.
Who cooks dinner? Jen, she asks me for ideas, I give them to her, she acts like it is the worst thing I have ever suggested and that she might puke her guts out, then she decides on something herself.
Who drives when you are together? I usually do. Jen does think that I am not a very good driver though.

Jensyn was able to see Santa a bunch of times this year. This was her reaction every time. She would happily take the candy cane from him, but then freak out when it was time to sit on Santa's lap. I can't really blame her though. Who really wants to sit on someone's lap that you you don't know? I am sure that one day she will figure out what it is all about. Sorry Santa and sorry Jensyn.
This is Jensyn on Christmas morning. Darwin and I woke her up. This is what Santa brought her. She seemed pretty happy about it.
This is Jensyn and Darwin opening one of Darwin's presents. We had such a wonderful Christmas. We went to my parents in the morning. We talked to my brother Darrin who is on a mission and he gets home next week, we had breakfast, and exchanged gifts. My parents did some amazing things this year....My mom wrote a book called "Tidbits." It is like a condensed journal about things she values. There is stuff about holidays and family traditions, memories of when she was growing up, advice, stories, good times and some not so good times. It is amazing. I feel like it is the best gift that I have ever recieved. I read it all Christmas night. There were parts that made me cry and laugh. It is definitely something that I hope to do one day for my kids. In fact, while I was reading it I was thinking of some fo the things that I would one day include in "my book." After my parents' house we went to Darwin's mom and dad's. Jensyn opened a bunch of presents and we played Guitar Hero (that is a hard game for anyone with little hands!!!). After that we went to Darwin's grandparents' and ate a lot of food and talked with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was a very enjoyable day. I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas.
