We're Moving

Well as lots of people know, we are moving. It is very sudden and shocking. Last Saturday night we listed our house on KSL Homes for Rent and by Sunday morning a couple had called on it and wanted some information. On Monday we met with the lady and her two kids and on Tuesday her husband came and looked at our house. They asked if there was any way that they could move in on the 15th. Darwin said "yes" as I looked at him in disbelief. I said, "That is like 10 days away and there is a lot that has to be done..." Well, Darwin won. We are moving in with my parents on Thursday of next week. We have been house hunting for awhile. Last night we put an offer on a house in Roy, so now we are waiting to see if they will accept, counter-offer, or reject it.

I am feeling a bit stressed out about the whole situation. I hate change. And this is MAJOR change. I am nervous about a bigger house, which means a bigger payment. I am extremely sad about moving away from our ward and all of the wonderful people that live here. We have made some very good friends. We have the friendliest neighborhood. If I stay busy with all of the packing that needs to be done I am fine. But if I think about all of the people that have impacted my family's lives then I just cry. On Wednesday night my ward had the funnest Enrichment Night. We had a Tea Party. Lots of people heard that we are moving. Well, all night I made jokes and tried to laugh it of and act like I was totally fine with it but as soon as I walked in the door at home I just started crying. A lot. I know that we are doing the right thing but I hate that things are going to change. I worry about Jensyn adjusting to everything that is going on right now.

Jenny!

I hope everything goes well with the move. I know that everything will work out. I totally understand hating to leave a fabulous ward...been there, done that...but you will be needed and welcomed wherever you go. Jensyn will do fine, kids are resilent and if she is anything like Sadie she will love a new adventure. I have four friends who live in Roy and they really enjoy it. Keep your chin up and I look forward to seeing you at bookclub and hearing about everything!

WOW JEN! A little stressful I would agree. I was so excited to move out of Tremonton cause I wasn't where I knew we should be. We weren't very active we went to church but, never got involved, and now being here in Brigham i love my home I love my ward and my neighborhood so when we where going to sell, it was extremely hard I was having all the same emotions you are and I never felt such a strong feeling to STAY right where we are since our ward has been so awesome we actually love going to church and getting INVOLVED now, so needless to say we are going to stay. YEAH! But, I know where ever you go it will be a great change and you will fit in and the best part-you'll be able to make new FRIENDS while you keep your old. Good Luck with ALL the packing but, maybe I'll be able to see you a little more since you will be moving closer to my parents in P.C. GOOD LUCK!

Sounds like very exciting stuff! You'll be able to get lots done and faster than you think! When we found out we were getting a new house it was a Friday and I had everything packed that night and moved Saturday! Amazing the things you can do with the right motivation! Good luck with everything. We have been looking at houses in Roy so if you know of anything let me know!

You make me cry girl. I really am sad you are leaving. You guys are great and I wish the best for you. I hope things continue to go well for you guys and that you will have good luck house hunting, fun, but I bet stressfull. I will miss not seeing you guys and not being able to see your cute little boy when he comes. Please continue to blog so we can see all that happens. We love you and will miss you. Let me know if you want Jensyn to come play while you pack. She is more than welcome.

Moving can be so hard. You know the story, if you loved your last ward/area, you will love your new one. It all depends on your attitude. (yes this is your mom, giving advice.) Chin up. It will be fun to have you really close.....for awhile. Hope the house hunting goes well. Love ya!

Change is hard - but exciting. If I read it right, you are moving in with your mom, that would make me happy. You'll get everything done, it might be stressful - but all worth it. Good Luck - you have a great family that will help you.
