Hurley's Blessing Day

Hurley was blessed by his dad on Sunday, September 7th. Hurley had the cutest suit, it is dark blue, has a vest, and a jacket-I love it! Sadly, we did not get a picture of just Hurley in his suit-so you get to see all of us. It was a great day. A lot of family showed up. (Great Grandpa and Grandma Tanaka, Nelson, Thacker, and Great Grandma Parker, Grandpa and Grandma Parker and McKellar, The Tingeys, Jason's family, BJ's family, Travis and Crystal, Darrin, The Vaughans, Dwight's family, Ellen, Grant's family, Deanna's family, Wanda's girls, Marchelle, Tammy Markland, and Steve and Cheryl Greer.) We had sandwiches, chips, salads, and lots of desserts-yummy. The weather was great. It was a day that will always be dear to me.

Darwin blessed Hurley with health , knowledge, and an example to his family, that he will serve a mission and get married in the temple, that family will be important to him, and that he will never have complications. I am grateful for my sweet baby boy. I am amazed by him often. It is crazy how different Hurley and Jensyn are. Hurley is a very cuddly baby. He loves to be held and loves skin to skin contact. Jensyn is not a cuddly person at all. It is fun to be a mom (and stressful). I love my two very special kids!
