Anything New? Maybe...

So it has been almost two months since I last updated. Such a long time. We have moved. I'm sure my parents are happy to have their house back to themselves. It is good to be back in our house and in our ward. We have missed it. We moved back the end of May and Darwin has been BUSY with our project list. So far we have painted the inside, replaced some windows, cleaned, done yard work, put a vanity in the bathroom, put in ceiling fans-quite the task because all of our lights were on the walls, cleaned, and done more yard work.

Our ward has been amazing. We love our neighbors. I have always been impressed by how generous people are. We have friend (Scott Sumner) that has been stopping by to see our progress. Well one night he came over and asked if we needed halp with anything. Darwin said there was not much more to do (that night) and that he was going to go to the storage unit to get a load of stuff. Scott said, let me go talk to my wife and then I can go with you. It took over two hours to sort the boxes and to get the essential things (kitchen stuff, cleaner, bathroom stuff, and bedroom stuff). Scott helped the whole time. I am very grateful.

Then a few days later Darwin got himself a present. A new TV that he is quite excited about. When he got home from the store he asked me to help him carry it inside. He told me that it wasn't too heavy and that I shouldn't have a problem. So I tried and I gave up. The TV weighs 120 pounds (according to the box). Well another friend of ours, Britton Hayden, was driving pass and asked if we needed help. I was quite relieved and I am sure Darwin was too cause his TV made it inside in one piece. So thank you neighbors and friends for your help.

James helped Darwin finish getting the stuff out of the storage unit. Now we need to sort our things. Why do we have so much stuff? Am I really going to need it all? I don't want to just get rid of it cause that seems wasteful but I don't want to keep it all cause that seems pointless.

I am going to run a Half Marathon in August. Some people in my family are keeping me motivated. Yesterday I ran 4.3 miles. I can't believe that I did it. But I did. Jason (my brother who is AMAZING) called last week to see how my running was coming and when I started with excuses, he put me in my place. So I ran and then I called him and my mom (who also runs and is amazing) to tell them. I need a lot of pats on the back-kind of pathetic I know.

I wanted to quickly add two funny things that Jensyn has said.

First, I asked her to pick up some toys in the living room. She started then looked at her hands and said, "Mom, I only have these two hands. I can't carry everything."

Then this afternoon she was in Hurley's room and she starts yelling, "There is a spider! There is a spider! Come kill it." So I go into the room hoping that it is a small spider so I can actually kill it and not be freaked out. She points to the "spider" that is actually a fly. I say, "That's a fly." She responds, "So shoot it."
Darwin and I got a pretty good laugh.

Glad to see the update. So did you move back to the same house or just the same neighborhood? By the way-I love Scott, he is a great guy. He was my photographer.
