Darwin and Jensyn saluting the flag.
The Color Guard
I thought this was too cute, when Roy High's Band and
Color Guard came by, Jensyn covered her heart.
Hurley slept through the entire parade. It was so loud too-with all of the sirens going off.
Jensyn was so quick to get the candy. She would wait until the float that threw the candy was passed her then she'd run out and get the candy.
She got over a pound of candy and she even shared with the little girl next to us .
I'm glad that we went to the parade. We did leave before it was over though. At 11:00 (the parade had been going for an hour and a half!) I was hot and I knew that I would have a hungry baby soon.

Cute little family.
Cute pictures. Looks like fun. Have Darwin put the Peach Days parade on his schedule. I think it is the 2nd week of Sept, and I would love to 'go back' to it.
Mom, I'm sure we will be to Peach Days and I think we should go eat lunch at Peach City since you can get us a discount ;)
Hurley is so flippin cute. Does he resemble Darwin's family? It looks like it to me. We will have to get together again. Ella and I need a break from the daily grind. Email me sometime!
What a smart girl - go for the candy and go fast. Who needs to wait until the float has past by? She's got it down!
You're kids are so cute. The parade sounds like a lot of fun, I'm glad she did so well catching the candy. It's always a bummer when you go to a parade that doesn't throw candy!
