Still sick....

Just to keep you updated (and so I can remember) Hurley now has RSV. Darwin took him to After Hours. I am sure that they are getting sick (pun intended) of us. His temperature was 102.3, his oxygen level was 88. So they immediatley did a breathing treatment which helped, after the treatment is oxygen level was 94. They took chest x-rays to rule out pneumonia and he was tested for the flu (negative). He now has to have a breathing treatment every four hours. It is a good thing that we already have a Nebulizer. We got one last Thursday cause Jensyn was in need of breathing treatments too. Now both kids are getting them. Jensyn is down to one or two and day and she seems to be doing lots better. Hurley also got a booger sucker machine. (I don't know the actual term for it.) I feel bad for him. The last few days he has coughed a lot, not moved a ton, kept his head down, and slept. I feel bad for sick kids. I hope that Jensyn and Hurley get back to the good 'ol selves before too much longer. We are starting our fifth week of being sick.

I wonder if Jensyn even remembers what nursery is since she hasn't been in over a month.

Poor kids. I'm so sorry about the sick little ones. That's no fun. Hopefully the weather will warm up and all this sickness will be in the past.

Oh so sorry, RSV is no fun and scary. I hope he recovers quickly. sounds like the spring sickness hit you too. We got away all winter without getting sick and then BAM once the warm weather hit, so did, colds, flu, and croup. Good luck.

I have SO been there and know how you feel, except I only have 1 & you have 2, so you have my sympathy. At least they are not in the hospital, that is the worst! And the term we use is BBG (baby booger grabber), really. I hope the kids start getting better soon. If you ever have any questions about asthma, etc., feel free to call me. We have been to asthma specialists & all sorts of things with Trey, so I am happy to lend you any advice.

Jen, I am so sorry you have to deal with all that... and especailly for 5 weeks straight :( that sounds like no fun. I hope they get better quick, they booger getter is a miracle. We have one, and I'm afraid Ryder will probably never learn to blow his nose. It just works so good, I use it all the time:) Good Luck with all .
