This is me in Darwin's Hurley shirt. I was wearing mostly Darwin's clothes towards the end of my pregnancy. This was one of my favorite things to wear. Well, Darwin and I decided to name the baby Hurley (not after the shirt) and I had to get a picture of me wearing it. My mom is going to make a blanket for our baby out of it.

My mom is great. She got to the hospital about 6:00 p.m. and she is very good at making sure that Darwin and I feel comfortable and relaxed (it is stressful to have a baby!). She took pictures and videotaped-nothing gross though.

The Parkers were in the waiting room while Hurley was born. They came into the room shortly after I was cleaned up. I know that Hurley is going to be spoiled by all of his grandparents. (Oh Adele came up after being at work until 9:00 p.m.-thanks for not wanting to go home first and rest.)
Hurley and Mom. I was very emotional after Hurley was born. I can't believe that I have two kids-it seems like a tough job. Hurley weighed 7 lbs 5 oz and he is 20 inches long. His head didn't seem overly big to me-I was worried about that. He did have a major conehead because he was in the birth canal for so long but nothing abnormal. He is a very cute little boy. He looks like his dad-and his dad is very happy about that. He does have blue eyes but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they turn brown like Darwin's. Please check back for more pictures because Jensyn still has not seen him and I am sure that we will take a lot of pictures of the two of them together.

Congratulations! Hurley is darling. Thank you for letting me be part of the experience. I too, am eager for Jensyn to get to see her new baby brother. (I'm waiting for her to wake up-then we will be there.)
congrats in the first picture he looks a lot like his big sister. The kids asked about you all day long and are excited for when you get back to grandma's soon they can see him. Especially Morgan! Relax, you will need the rest

Congrats! What an exciting day. Isn't it crazy how emotional it gets? I'm glad you are both doing well. I look forward to seeing more pictures, especially of Jensyn with her little brother. What a great idea to make a blanket out of your guys favorite shirt with his name on it. 2 kids sounds alittle chaotic, but it does get easier and I'm sure Jensyn will be alot of help. I had 2 babies on my hands that needed ALL my attention and I don't remember it being to overwhelming. So GOOD LUCK! I can't wait to see more pictures and I'm glad you two are both doing GOOD!

Belated Congrats! I quickly looked at your blog the other day but didn't have time to comment. He is adorable. I am glad everything went well with the delivery. It seems like yesterday we were all in high school and today we have kids. Wierd to think about it. Anyway, I hope all else is going well and it looks like Jensyn LOVES her new little brother.
