It seems these days that Jensyn's favortie saying is "I do it." She wants to do everything by her self. Like walking up the stairs, cut her food, getting dressed, getting in and out of the car, doing up her seat belt on her car seat, putting on her shoes, and now holding her brother. It is pretty cute but please keep in mind that she is only 2 years older than Hurley so she is too young to really "hold" him by herself. But she seems to really enjoy it, don't ya think?

Here she is trying to give Hurley a binkie. Please notice that I am right by her montoring her every move. I think Jensyn was frustrated that Hurley wouldn't just suck on the binkie and he is was frustrated that his head was not being held up.

One happy kid and one unsure baby.

Darwin and I have been playing Monopoly (just the two of us-it makes for a long game). But we have spent a lot of odd hours awake in the middle of the night because Hurley is still not on a sleeping schedule. So we decided to make the most of our time. Currently I am winning-I hope Darwin does not read this. When this game ends, I'll post the results. Well Jensyn put the houses on her fingers-she's so cute!

Oh, another thing my two-year-old
loves to do. She loves to take pictures of herself. I bet we have 100 pictures just like this of Jensyn's nose and mouth. (I am so glad that we have a digital camera.)

Cute pictures. Can't wait to read who wins the game.
She is so cute. They both are. It is hard trying to let them "help" & let them do it on their own. It will get better, I promise. We missed you guys coming over tonight!!!;)
I think she is at one of my favorite ages. So cute.
She can already take great pictures! I can't believe you play monopoly in the middle of the night. That is a great idea to pass the time. Those are cute pictures of them together!
What a good little helper they both are so cute.
Looks like she is loving her new little brother! Don't ya love the 'I do it' stage?? The thing that drives me the most crazy is the doing thier own carseat up! We sit in the driveway forever:) I'm sure you can relate! Cute pictures:)
Gotta love hearing "I do it". That must be a universal phrase for 2 year olds! If you could keep track they will probably end up saying that one phrase more than any other in their entire life! And how do you get your Monopoly games to last so long? Everytime that Trent and I play he beats me in like 10 minutes! LOL Maybe I shouldn't tell people that :(
The kids are so cute. Lexie is also in the "i do it" stage. It's nice when she figures things out, but the learning part can require lots of patience at times!
Hey, I was just going to let you know, I am starting my portfolio for photography. If you'd be interested in me taking some pics of your little man, let me know. My email address is hayleyalberts@yahoo.com.
