Las Vegas

We were very lucky to be able to spend the weekend at Darwin's Aunt Julie's house near Las Vegas. We had a blast.(We always do when we go there.) We went to the Hoover Dam and watched the water. Normally we just drive over it and look out the window of the car but we decided to get out and stretch our legs. We got there about 5:00 at night so it was not crowded at all. The kids mostly stayed in their strollers but Jensyn did ask to see the water a lot-which is why we were there.

When we got to Marc and Julie's we talked, talked, talked, and talked. It still amazes me how much we all have to say to each other. We would stay up WAY too late talking and then get up and start talking all over again. We ate dinner at Lucille's. It is a great restaurant that serves Southern Barbeque. Oh man it was good. I love the baked beans. Darwin got Babyback Ribs and I got a BBQ Chicken Sandwich. The drinks were served in Mason jars. The bisquits were amazing. They were even sugar crusted. (Jason, you would love them).

We did go to the Strip too. We walked around Caesar's and the Venetian. There is so much to see. It amazes me how different people are. Most people were very nice to us. (I am sure it was the two cute kids that we were pushing around in strollers.) It has been a nice vacation and I am sorry to see it end.

Thank you Marc and Julie and Kids for being so generous!!!!

Glad that you had fun. I love Las Vegas! Some people really don't like it, but it has so many amazing things to see.
